Job Description

The Workshop Production Lead - mechanical plant workshop supervisor leading role you will oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring that production schedules are met and administrative tasks are efficiently managed. This role is vital in maintaining high standards of production, safety, and team coordination.

ESSENTIAL : strong background leading a workshop team with strong mechanical knowledge.



preferably someone from the oil industry background knowledge of subsea, pressure control equipment would be great advantage.



Key Responsibilities:



Lead and manage the workshop team to meet production goals and deadlines.

Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and personnel. Monitor production processes and workflow, making adjustments as necessary to maintain efficiency and quality.

Compiling Work Packs: Support the preparation and organization of work packs for workshop projects. This includes gathering necessary documents, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining up-to-date records.

Co-Ordinate Training and Competency Records: manage training matrix and maintain competency records for workshop personnel. Ensure all certifications and training documents are current and properly filed.

Liaise with workshop personnel and other departments to facilitate smooth workflow and address any administrative needs.

Resolve production-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies within the workshop. Provide training, support, and performance feedback to workshop staff. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and outcomes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a leadership / supervisor role within a workshop or manufacturing environment within the oil & gas industry. mechanical & hydraulic knowledge Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading and motivating a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with production management software. Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
