A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Workshop Service Manager to join our team at Inverurie Garden & Machinery Centre.

Job Summary:

First point of contact for customers with Service enquiries Responsible for the communication, preparation and planning with Workshop Team of all Workshop bookings Face to face, telephone and email enquiries/bookings from customers (and passing on correct information) Retail invoicing as required Maintain the highest standards of customer contact and communications throughout their visit Liaising with all internal departments; Service colleagues, Sales Executives, Engineers and Parts Advisors. Partake in internal and external audits to ensure standards are maintained
Reporting to the Machinery Director, you will be responsible for the overall efficient running of the Workshop. This will include the overall departmental profitability as well as maintaining effective and accurate communications between customers and the Parts/Workshop team.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Experience and good knowledge of ATV and/or Garden Machinery products and parts is advantageous Previous supervisory experience is desirable Excellent communication skills Remain calm under pressure Be organised and have the ability to multitask efficiently Be proactive and methodical in approach to problem solving Act with discretion when dealing with matters of a confidential nature Able to work alone and on your own initiative Have an excellent level of IT skills Strong attention to detail

Additional Information:

Location: Inverurie Garden & Machinery Centre, AB51 8UT

Working Hours: 8am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday

*Additional hours as required to include Saturdays on rota and at peak times

Contract: Permanent, Full time, Salaried

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
