We are recruiting for Workshop & Stores Technician for our Teesside facility.

Essential Qualifications/Experience/Competencies



Full Driving License Literate and numerate Experience working to a Safety Management System Ability to work strictly to standards and procedures Good communications skills Ability to work under on own initiative Good organisational skills Flexible and adaptable Ability to problem solve and make decisions HSE awareness Customer and Quality Focus.

Desirable Qualifications/Experience/Competencies



Previous experience in a workshop/ stores role Knowledge in Hose Manufacture, Hydrostatic and/or Pneumatic Testing Knowledge on overhauling accumulators and hydraulic systems
Duties include but are not limited to:

Operationally



To follow and comply with all safety rules and regulations in accordance with the organisation's Environmental, HSE Management System at all times To ensure that all tasks carried out are as per supervisor's written and verbal instructions To carry out all work to client specification To ensure that all tasks carried out meet company QMS procedures To be fully aware of component compatibility and competent in the use of Hydrasun products To be able to identify and use appropriate fittings for fitting to specified hoses, as per customer specification To carry out assemblies using a variety of hoses for industrial, composite and hydraulic purposes To be able to perform low & high pressure testing abiding to bunkered and non-bunkered Hydrasun procedures To understand the procedures involved when testing to higher pressures and its associated safety critical aspects To carry out all assembly techniques as per supplier or in-house procedures To work off site as and when required To be aware of environmental issues associated with workshop procedures The ability to operate all hose assembly machinery and equipment To ensure that work areas are maintained clean and hazard free at all times To actively contribute to the overall team activities and promote good working practices To ensure the accurate completion of timesheets within the correct timescales

Ensure that work activities are executed in accordance with the Company's HSEQ Management System Take all the necessary actions to reduce risks in the workplace Deal effectively with incidents that occur in the workplace Ensure work areas are maintained, kept clean and hazard free Ensure that risks are assessed and risk assessments completed where applicable.

Continuous Improvement / Development



Take part in Tool Box Talks and other communication processes to ensure you keep up to date with recent events or changes within the department and for the smooth running of the day to day work detail and daily planning Actively take part in the Performance appraisals system Comply with the Human Resource Management systems and procedures Motivate and encourage and mentor trainees To help promote a culture of cost efficiency and savings Participate and assist with internal and external audits Adopt and promote good working practices ensuring compliance with the Company's HSEQ Management System and Quality Management System.
