Permanent, full time, 37 hours per week.

Rotherham Borough Council is seeking an experienced Workstream Lead to support the delivery of the housing transformation programme.

Reporting directly to the Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating key activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivering measurable outcomes for our residents and communities.


Key Responsibilities




Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of work within a wider transformation programme. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective engagement and communication. Monitor progress against milestones, manage risks and issues, and report on performance to the Programme Manager. Ensure that work outputs are delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standards. Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and service excellence across Housing




We are looking for an individual with a strong track record of leading complex projects or workstreams. You will bring excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to build effective relationships and drive progress. Highly organised and analytical, you will be comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year.
