Location: Newcastle Quays Retail Park, NE29 6DW

Hours: 5 hours per week (Sundays, Thursdays and occasional rehearsals)

Pay: Minimum wage (in line with UK regulations)

About Us

Head of Grace Christian Network is a newly planted, growing church dedicated to preaching the Gospel, fostering prayer culture, training leaders, and serving the community. We are seeking a Worship Lead to help develop and lead our worship ministry in this formative stage of our church.

Role Overview

The Worship Lead will oversee and lead musical worship during services, ensuring the worship environment is Spirit-led, Christ-centered, and welcoming. As a new church without an existing worship team, this role requires someone who can start initiatives, recruit and train volunteers, and shape the musical worship ministry from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Lead worship in Sunday services and occasional special events Prayerfully select songs and plan worship sets in alignment with church vision Coordinate and rehearse with musicians and vocalists (as volunteers are recruited) Assist with sound check and liaise with technical/media personnel Model a lifestyle of worship and spiritual maturity
Person Specification

Consecrated in the Holy Spirit, prayer, and the Word Skilled in playing at least one instrument (e.g., keyboard, guitar) and/or leading vocals Able to work independently and initiate new projects Excellent communication and team-building skills Have right to work in the UK Previous worship leading experience desirable, but open to those with the calling and commitment
