Job Description

We are looking for an energetic individual to support, engage and look after children in the Wraparound Care Club.

We are a charity term time only Pre-School and wrap around care setting, open from 7:30am to 6pm. We accept 2-, 3- and 4-year-old funding as well as 30-hour funding. Wrap around care is offered for children aged 2 to 12.

Hours:

Term time only - Monday to Friday 2.15pm to 6.15pm. With the possibility of additional hours.

Start:

as soon as possible

Salary:

Dependent on age, qualifications and experience.

Duties will include:

We are looking for a Wrap Around Care Assistant to support our pupils during our After School Club. You will be responsible for working with the team to set up after school club as well as the supervision and supporting of the pupils at after school club together with clearing and cleaning after snacks.

This will mean ensuring the conduct of pupils whilst eating snack and assisting and supervising them with activities they choose at after school club ensuring that after school club is a safe and happy for all children.

Ensuring all Safeguarding procedures are followed and having a good understanding and commitment to Equality, diversity, and the principles of inclusion.

Experience / Qualifications:

Desirable but not essential:

Up to date Paediatric First Certificate

Up to date Food Hygiene qualification

Up to date Food Allergy Awareness qualification

Up to date Safeguarding and associated training qualification

Up to date Manual Handling qualification

1 year's experience in a similar role or working with children
