Drake Primary School has a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our

Wrap-Around Care Team,

working in our after-school club to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for our pupils.

We are looking for someone who will:

Provide pupils with a calm, safe and nurturing environment at the end of the school day Ensure children play safely, demonstrate our school values, and build resilient friendships Participate in the day-to-day administration and record keeping Support and lead fun, age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, and sports Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents to strengthen our school community Implement our relational approach, supporting inclusion and celebrating the uniqueness of every child Demonstrate excellent communication skills and uphold clear boundaries with high expectations Provide full care for the children, including the collection of children from school and the safe delivery to parents and/or named carers Administering first aid as appropriate Encouraging parental involvement, close liaison with parents, schools and other childcare settings NVQ playwork or appropriate childcare qualification to at least Level 2 A commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities

Hours:

Term time only, 5 days per week, Monday-Friday, 3-5.30pm. The rate of pay is 13.05 per hour.

Fixed term
