Mon, Tues, Weds and Fri- 2:45pm-6pm (wrap around Reception - Year 6)- permanent Scale 3 (SCP5-6). Term time only

Job Purpose



To plan, deliver and evaluate a varied programme of high quality play opportunities in a safe environment To lead in the development of independent social skills To undertake duties such a preparing snacks, cleaning club room and toys, reporting any damages and tidying up etc To administer basic/paediatric first aid where appropriately trained To assist in the specific medical/care needs of pupils when specific training has been undertaken To take care for their own and other people's health and safety. To liaise with parents to enable the effective operation of the Club To report a child's problems/achievements to parents a necessary To complete registers of attendance/absence and other child records Maintaining stock and report to line manager where ordering is required To support the promotion of positive relationships with parents and outside agencies To ensure confidentiality is maintained where appropriate To follow and Health and Safety policies and procedures To follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
This post requires the ability to perform a role that involves frequent contact with children

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020

Responsibilities- Wraparound Assistant



To undertake other such duties and training as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job To undertake Health and Safety duties commensurate with the post and / or as detailed in the School Health and Safety Policy. To contribute to the positive team atmosphere and public image of the school. To act professionally and with integrity at all times. To assist with the general care and welfare of all pupils striving to maintain a happy safe environment at all times To adhere to and maintain school routines and codes of conduct including confidentiality To support the aims and ethos of the school at all times To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participating in appropriate training activities In all contacts the post holder will be required to present a good image of the Academy as well as maintaining constructive relationships. To carry out any other duty which is deemed reasonable by the Headteacher.
