Manor Leas Junior Academy are looking to recruit a Wraparound Care Lead for their successful 'Phoenix Den' wraparound care facility.
Salary: Grade 4:9
Hours: 20 hours per week, term time only. 3pm to 6pm daily plus 5 hours flexible throughout the week for administrative tasks

Job Role:
The wrap around care lead, will lead the running of the school led wrap around care that caters for pupils at both the Junior and Infant schools. The successful candidate will work within a dedicated and friendly team and will oversee the day-to-day operation of the wrap around facility, ensuring there is a sound delivery of a diverse program of activities and the environment is safe, welcoming, interesting and fun for all the children. Experience of working within a school is desirable, along with experience of administrative tasks. The post holder should be level 3 qualified and have detailed knowledge of both childcare and play.
We are looking for a team player who puts the interest of the pupils at the heart of everything they do. Flexibility, creativity and the ability to act on your feet is essential along with good communication skills to deal with the wider school team, the children and the parents and carers. The ability to have fun and to provide an inclusive welcoming environment for our children is essential.
We are a friendly school, with a 'Good' Ofsted rating, located off Hykeham Road in Lincoln. We have 300 children currently on roll and are KS2 only. The wraparound care provision is also open to our neighbouring infant school and so pupils attending will be from age 4 to 11.
Job role:
Staff supervision
Overseeing and assisting staff to provide the pupils with appropriate, fun and engaging activities
Overseeing and assisting staff to help develop the children's' self-esteem and independence
Establishing and maintaining relationships with individual pupils and parents/carers;
Ensuring health and safety regulations are met and liaising with the Senior Leadership Team
Planning inclusive engaging activities for all children attending
Monitoring attendance of pupils and liaising with the school office
Booking sessions for parents and following up on outstanding fee payments
Maintaining accurate records
Supervision of the staff team
Being an effective model for pupil behaviour.
Safeguarding children and promoting their health and safety, including safe collection at the end of each session
Promoting the growth of the facility
Leading on the DFE breakfast scheme (once confirmed by the DFE)
Support for the school
monitoring effective working relationships with colleagues and parents;
contributing to the maintenance of pupils' safety and security;
reviewing and develop their own professional practice;
recognising confidentiality, child protection procedures, Health & Safety, and the policies of the Board of Trustees.
Preparing reports as requested for the Head, SBM and Trustees
