Wraparound Care Manager
to oversee the delivery and management of our wraparound care services in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key leadership role in shaping the quality of out-of-school provision for children, while supporting and developing a dedicated team.
About the Role:
As a
Wraparound Care Manager
, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational management of our wraparound care services. You'll ensure venues are safe, engaging, and compliant, while supporting staff and maintaining the highest safeguarding and welfare standards.
Working hours: 25 hours per week
, split as follows:
14 hours per week
: Delivery of wraparound care sessions.
3.5 hours per week
: On-site visits to venues to support Venue Leads and staff.
7.5 hours per week
: Management duties, including - Occupancy, budgets, safeguarding, staff development, training coordination, recruitment support and compliance monitoring -- this can be completed from home or a school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee safer recruitment, staffing structure, and staff deployment across venues.
Lead safeguarding practice, acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead and supporting venue DSLs.
Provide ongoing coaching, supervision, and training for venue teams.
Manage the effective day-to-day operation of wraparound care services.
Lead on preparation and participation in early years/Ofsted inspections.
Identify and address staff training needs across venues.
Proactively promote Premier Education's WAC services to schools and stakeholders.
Regularly review and implement company policies, safeguarding procedures, and ensure EYFS compliance.
Support the development of new services, quality improvements, and business growth initiatives.
Encourage high standards of wellbeing, emotional resilience, and nutritional health for children.
Maintain accurate records for incidents, safeguarding disclosures, medication, and data protection in line with policy.
About You:
We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic childcare or education professional with:
Strong safeguarding knowledge and a commitment to child welfare.
Previous leadership or management experience in a childcare or wraparound care setting.
Excellent organisational, communication, and people management skills.
Confidence in dealing with inspections, compliance, and policy implementation.
Experience delivering staff training and development.
Ability to work flexibly across multiple venues and independently manage your workload.
