Horsmonden Primary Academy

setting:

Site Lead

(25 hrs/week, 12.50-13.50 p/h)

Playworker

(22 hrs/week, 10.00-12.21p/h)

Site Lead Role

Lead and supervise a small team delivering high-quality breakfast and after-school clubs Plan and run engaging, age-appropriate activities Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and admin tasks are completed to a high standard Build strong relationships with children, parents, and school staff

Requirements

Level 2+ qualification in Childcare, Playwork, or similar Experience working with primary-age children Leadership/supervisory experience Strong safeguarding knowledge and admin skills

Playworker Role

Support the delivery of fun and safe activities before and after school Supervise children aged 4-11 in a school club setting Lead play-based activities and encourage positive behaviour Serve snacks and promote healthy habits

Requirements

Aged 18+ (due to insurance and Ofsted regulations) Experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or play settings Excellent communication and teamwork skills Confidence supporting play in a structured but fun environment Desirable: Childcare qualification, First Aid/Safeguarding/Food Hygiene, driving licence
