About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, organised and passionate
Wraparound Care Lead
to take charge of our wraparound care provision across one or more primary school settings. This vital role supports working families by providing a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for children before and after the school day.As the Wraparound Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of breakfast and after-school clubs, leading a small team of staff, and delivering a high-quality programme of fun and enriching activities. Your focus will be on promoting wellbeing, social development, and ensuring safeguarding standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, plan and deliver high-quality wraparound care sessions in line with school and company values and policies.
Manage, supervise and support wraparound care staff
Ensure the welfare, safety and wellbeing of all children attending the provision.
Develop and implement engaging activity schedules that promote creativity, teamwork, and physical activity.
Maintain accurate records including attendance, incident logs, and risk assessments.
Liaise effectively with parents/carers and school staff as required.
Ensure the environment is clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.
About You
Proven experience in working with children in an educational or care setting (essential).
Experience leading or managing a team (essential).
A recognised childcare qualification at Level 3 or above (essential).
Paediatric First Aid qualification (desirable).
Safeguarding Level 1 (minimum) and a strong understanding of child protection policies.
Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities that meet the developmental needs of children aged 4-11.
Confident, proactive and approachable with excellent communication skills.
