24,590 per annum (pro rata) -12.61 per hour

Part time 30 hours per week: May include evenings and weekends where necessary to meet client needs

Based at Bank Street, Castleford but expected to conduct support sessions across the Wakefield district as required. This will include visits to clients' homes

Please note a driving licence and use of a vehicle with Business use insurance is essential for this role

The Role



As a

Wraparound Support Worker

, you'll be a trusted listener and a gentle guide. You'll work with older adults one-to-one or in small groups- by phone, in their homes, or out in the community- offering time, space, and understanding as they explore ways to improve their emotional wellbeing.

You'll help people set personal goals, connect with local support networks, and take small, meaningful steps toward feeling more confident, connected, and hopeful about the future.

About you



You're empathetic, a great listener, and passionate about supporting others. You'll bring:

Experience in a mental health or wellbeing support role Understanding of older adults' emotional health needs Confidence delivering support face-to-face, by phone, or online Strong communication, organisation, and record-keeping skills A caring, person-centred approach
