About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and responsible Supervisor/Team Leader to help run the day-to-day operations of our community convenience store in Wythall. You'll be supporting the Store Manager and making sure the shop runs smoothly during your shifts, including opening and closing, supervising staff, and helping customers.

This is a part-time position for 24 hours per week, and includes working some evenings and weekends.

Main Duties

Serve customers in a friendly and helpful way Supervise team members on shift and make sure tasks are done Open and close the store when needed Handle cashing up and make sure tills are correct Help with deliveries, restocking shelves and keeping the store tidy Make sure the shop stays safe, clean, and well organised Deal with minor issues and report anything serious to the Store Manager Follow all food safety and health & safety rules Make sure legal rules (like age-restricted sales) are followed

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Some experience working in retail, ideally in a convenience store Confident working on the tills and handling money Able to take the lead and supervise a small team Good communication and problem-solving skills Willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Over 18 Punctual, trustworthy and good under pressure

Desirable:

Previous team leader or supervisor experience Basic food hygiene or first aid knowledge

Hours & Pay

24 hours per week (on a rota, including weekends) Hourly rate depending on experience Staff discount and opportunity for more hours when needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 15,000.00-22,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 per week
