Yard and Valeting Assistant - Lloyd Ltd



An opportunity has arisen for a Yard and Valeting Assistant to join our growing team at Lloyd Ltd Carlisle.



Job Role



As a Yard and Valeting Assistant, you will play a key role behind the scenes to support our fast-paced Sales and Service departments. One of your main responsibilities will include valeting a range of machinery from pick-up vehicles to agricultural and construction machinery. As part of the role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the depot yard is kept organised at all times and assisting with collections and deliveries of machinery. You will also be responsible for ensuring all machinery is maintained and prepared to the highest standard for our customers. From time to time, you will be required to assist with other ad-hoc depot duties.



Job Criteria



The ideal Yard and Valeting Assistant will hold the following skills and experiences:



Experience working in a similar role, or with machinery (essential)

An interest in vehicles and machinery

Good communication skills

Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines

Excellent team working ethos and the ability to be pro-active and use initiative

Contract Type - Permanent



Working Hours - 39 hours per week working Monday to Friday with additional overtime available.
