, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving both indoor and outdoor depot areas. This position combines hands-on responsibilities with supervisory duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and adherence to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily yard operations, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. Coordinate and assist with loading and unloading forklifts (FLTs), equipment, and all incoming/outgoing deliveries. Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the office team to ensure timely restocking and order fulfillment. Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard environment. Liaise with the Health & Safety Manager to implement and uphold safety protocols. Resolve operational issues quickly to minimize disruptions to the workflow. Promote a positive, team-oriented work culture focused on high performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably within a yard or depot environment. Full UK driving license (essential). Forklift truck (FLT) license preferred -- training will be provided if necessary. Electrical product knowledge is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks in a demanding environment. Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to yard operations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
