We are currently working with a client that requires an proactive and reliable Yard Manager with mechanical experience to oversee the day-to day operations of their yard and to ensure all
equipment is maintained and serviced. This position is ideal for someone with a mechanics background who can manage a team, be organised and manage the health and safety for the site.

- Manage the organisation, cleanliness and safety of the yard and work areas
- Oversee the inspection, maintenance and repair of company equipment including agriculture machines
- Maintain accurate records of service and repair history
- Manage incoming and outgoing vendors for specialised repairs
- Manage incoming and outgoing inventory, deliveries and shipments
- Support logistics and operations teams with equipment allocation and yard logistics
- Health and safety compliance
- Proven experience as a yard Manager
- Strong mechanical background- ability to diagnose and repair equipment
- Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic systems would be an advantage
- Familiar with maintaining heavy machinery and tools
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Able to work under pressure
