The Role:



Responsible for maintaining the yard areas and warehouses. To manufacture and pack a range of food ingredient products, to written specifications. It is a condition of your employment that if requested to do so, you should be willing to move from one section of the department to another and from job to job.

Responsibilities:



Daily work to cleaning schedules of Warehouses and Yard areas defined by Warehouse Manager ensuring all schedules are completed daily. Weekly inspections of external areas including silo's and compactors Cleaning up and removing any spillage, waste, litter etc as necessary Carry out minor repairs, filling holes etc. Ensure pallets are tidy and in good order. Clean compactor areas. Maintain general housekeeping of outside areas, trimming back shrubbery on the grounds. Arrange for any damaged pallets to be removed from the site and count pallets for the stocktake. Ensure Good Manufacturing Code of Practice and product protection practices are followed at all times, including hygiene duties as directed by your manager. To carry out all the necessary checks for process, quality, hygiene and HACCP. Ensuring accurate documentation is complete. Carry out all tasks in accordance with safe working practices and systems of work and accept any new instructions or training regarding all safety issues, as highlighted by either the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager. To achieve targeted outputs specific to your role. Assist with stock counts as required. Actively work towards a nil level of complaints attributable to the team and work to a 'Right first time' policy. Undertake such training as is viewed necessary by the company to improve personal performance or to meet the overall business objectives. To provide training where applicable to NWF Personnel. To be flexible and provide cover if required and during any periods of planned overtime. Ensure that all tasks are conducted safely, adhering to NWF Health & Safety Regulations working in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and to follow all company procedures. Report any Near Miss or Accidents to your immediate line manager

Experience & Knowledge:



Previous experience working in an FMCG warehouse environment Valid Counterbalance & Reach licences Must be able to work outside in all weathers Basic computer skills

Other Information:



This is role continental shift pattern 12-hour rotational shift (7am-7pm) . One week you will be working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the next week you would be working Wednesday and Thursday, and so on) however a degree of flexibility is required, depending on business need.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 30,083.01 per year
