As a Yard Operative, you will:

Yard Duties:

Assist with general yard duties, including stock control and maintaining clean and organised storage areas.

Loading and Unloading:

Load and unload vehicles with products for delivery and incoming supplier materials.

Inventory Management:

Keep track of stock locations and record keeping, while reporting any discrepancies or issues.

Organisation:

Accurately and timely complete all required documentation to enable clear traceability.

Waste Management:

recyclable and general waste control, to maintain efficient work environment and cleanliness.

Safety First:

Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site and off-site.

Utilise Equipment:

Utilise warehouse equipment such as forklifts (training provided if required).
What We're Looking For:

Team Player:

A self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.

Physical Fitness:

The role requires physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy items.

Attention to Detail:

Accurate and meticulous in paperwork and general vehicle and yard upkeep.
Desirable:

Previous Yards Experience:

Prior experience in a similar role.

Previous Driving Experience:

Comfortable in driving different vehicles from LWB vans to 12T Rigid HGV's.
