Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the yard area, ensuring that materials are handled efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Load and unload materials from lorries and other vehicles.
- Loading customer vehicles.
- Operate forklifts, JCB Loader, and other machinery safely and effectively.
- Assist in building and maintaining storage areas within the yard.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage during shipping and receiving processes.
- Maintain an organised yard by ensuring that all items are stored correctly.
- Utilise a warehouse management system to track inventory levels and movements.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Willing to learn.
