Job Description

We are an e-commerce company supplying road, workplace, and construction safety related equipment to the UK and internationally since 2009. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated and efficient Yard and Warehouse Operative. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Yard and Warehouse by managing inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

The Role:

Picking & packing customer orders using a handheld scanner Receiving and checking deliveries from suppliers Loading and unloading vehicles using a counterbalance/forklift truck Stock control and organisation General housekeeping Adhering to strict Health & Safety procedures Working in our external storage area with occasional requirements to work indoors in the main warehouse

The Person:

Somebody who is flexible in their approach to work with a 'can-do' attitude Experienced in warehouse duties Experienced counterbalance operator (essential) Reach Truck experience desirable (not essential) Health & Safety awareness High attention to detail Accustomed to working as part of a team

Terms & Benefits:

Salary - 27,000.00-28,000.00 per year Monthly bonus scheme (related to Order Picking / paid when set criteria has been achieved Company pension Holiday Entitlement: 30 days per annum including Bank Holidays, increasing by 1 day per annum, after 2 years of service, capped at 8 years' service, giving the employee a total of 36 days per annum, including Bank Holidays.
