Yard Operative/ Driver
within the team inBangor
. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic and have a willingness to learn and develop new skills that will equip them for a successful career within Haldane Fisher.Key responsibilities will include:
Picking orders to meet customer requirements Assisting and serving calling customers Assisting yard personnel with the loading and offloading of customer and company vehicles Deliver orders professionally and on time, following legal driving standards and tachograph rules. Maintain a tidy yard and follow PPE guidelines to support health and safety standards.
Applications for this role are invited from an individual who:
Has a Category C Driving Licence and Driver CPC Qualification Holds a valid digital tachograph card Has GCSE (or equivalent) level Math & English at level C or above Has experience of working in a customer focused environment preferably within a building trade counter environment Has experience of loading and unloading of vehicles (including HGV Lorries) Has preferably the ability to demonstrate knowledge of general building, hardware and timber products Has strong customer service & communication skills
