We are currently seeking a yard operative to join our busy team in Sidmouth, Devon.
Duties include general labouring and operating a fire wood processor, loading vehicles with firewood for delivery.
We offer competitive rates of pay for the right candidate paid weekly.
Core Requirements
Able to commute to EX10 - Hours: 8am - 4:30 pm start time. Ability to work well under pressure as part of a team and on your own initiative Conscientious with a good 'can do' attitude Happy to work outdoors in all weathers Reliable, with good time keeping Positive, friendly and helpful Honest, willing to learn from mistakes Physically fit and used to manual labour
Desirable requirements
UK Driving Licence & own transport Basic mechanical & maintenance knowledge, changing bulbs, checking levels etc Ability to drive tractors and Manitou/telehandler Ability to manoeuvre trailers Knowledge of the local area
