Purpose of Role:

Our agricultural supplies business is recruiting a yard person/driver, based at Moreleigh, Totnes. The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking a variety of tasks from goods inwards and stock rotation, through to maintenance of the yard areas and collection and delivery of machinery and equipment.

Duties to include:

Operating the forklift and telescopic handler to load and unload lorries

Sorting and rotating stock

Serving our customers in a helpful, pleasant and efficient manner

Picking out loads, loading machinery/equipment and securely strapping

Carrying out ATV and UTV handovers

Following instructions to make deliveries/collections and carry out handover when necessary

Washing/Steam Cleaning machinery and equipment

Person Specification:

Be able to conduct a manual handling role and be physically fit

Possess a Counterbalance forklift and telehandler licence or be willing to take training

Hold a full clean driving licence

Be willing to make deliveries locally and further afield

Be self-motivated and willing to work on own initiative

Demonstrate strong accuracy skills

Have a flexible approach in working hours

Have an interest in agriculture and agricultural equipment

Option of HGV driver training
