Purpose:

We're looking for a hard-working and reliable Yard Person who takes pride in their work to join our friendly team. The ideal person will have a drivers licence, a can do attitude and enjoy manual work. You will be moving, cleaning, greasing up and checking fluid levels and topping up as necessary and preparing machines prior to fitters' inspection. Some experience of working in a workshop (or similar environment) would be useful but not essential as training will be given on the job. You will be directed by and reporting to our Depot Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

Clean plant and equipment to high standard. Grease and top up fluid levels as required. General preparation of machines prior to fitters' checks and sign off Preparation includes greasing up, checking and topping up fluid levels, fuel, oil, ad blue. Training provided to move plant machinery in yard. Maintain clean and tidy organised yard. Willingness to start early, work late if required, overtime available at 1.5 x hourly rate.
Skills/Qualifications:

Full driving license preferred but not essential. Can do attitude. Ability to build good working relationships with depot personnel. Work to high standards, with good attention to detail.
