Yard Supervisor - MBC Timber Frame

Location: Gloucester

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (3:30 PM on Fridays)

Overtime: Available selected Saturdays

MBC Timber Frame, a leading manufacturer in timber frame construction, is seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor. This is a hands-on, leadership role ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a background in timber frame or construction logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily yard operations and lead a team of yard operatives Pick timber and ensure delivery accuracy upon receipt Safely load lorries with timber frame house components in correct quantities, following detailed load lists Ensure all finished products are moved from the factory and stored correctly in the yard Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard environment Ensure the production factory is continuously supplied with required materials Liaise closely with production and logistics teams to ensure efficient material flow Conduct visual quality and quantity checks on all incoming and outgoing materials
Essential Requirements:

Valid counterbalance forklift and side loader license Proven experience in a similar supervisory or senior yard role Ability to manage a small team effectively Excellent communication and organisational skills Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality Experience in construction or manufacturing is preferred
