Enviroworx Skip Hire is seeking a dedicated and experienced Yard Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our waste management yard. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of yard logistics, lorries, and waste handling.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage waste management operations within the yard. Supervise and organize yard workers to ensure smooth and safe operations. Handle logistics of skip lorries tipping waste and the movement of materials. Manage customers tipping on-site and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Arrange the collection of specific waste types going off-site, working with external haulers as needed. Maintain a clean and organized yard to promote safe working conditions. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Operate or train to operate an excavator for waste handling (training provided if necessary).

Requirements:

Previous experience in yard management or a similar role, preferably in waste management or construction. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Basic IT skills for yard logistics management. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Excavator operating qualifications (desirable) or willingness to undergo training. Excellent communication skills, particularly for customer interactions on-site.
