Yard Supervisor
An opportunity has arisen to work from our New Walthamstow, Depot, E17 5RB, where we supply and deliver all forms of roofing materials.
You will ensure the efficient running of the branches yard and be responsible for leading and inspiring your team, developing customer relationships and delivering excellent customer service. Your team will be on hand to assist our customers with their needs. You will also make sure that stock levels are controlled to optimise availability.
You will need to have previous supervisory experience in a similar role/environment and be able to demonstrate your management experience, be a good communicator as you will be working closely with a team of experienced operatives and dealing with the public. You should have a flexible attitude, and ideally some experience in the building/roofing industry. You will need to be aware of health and safety where it will be a key factor within your yard.
Forklift experience would be helpful but not essential.
You will be required to work Monday to Thursday 6:30am - 4:30pm and 6:30am - 4:00pm on Fridays No Saturdays
44.5 hours per week
20 days holiday of which up to 4 are to be taken over Christmas.
30,961.32pa plus Bonuses
