Yard / Warehouse Manager

Contract type: Permanent, Full time

Working hours: Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00

Fridays: 07:30 - 12:30

Location: Doncaster

Salary: TBC (D.O.E)

What are we looking for:

We are looking for a motivated and positive individual to organise, oversee and manage the daily running's of the yard and warehouse. You will need to have well-rounded knowledge and experience in a similar role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Administrating stock control Comply with Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements Quality control of goods before site delivery Organising the stock in the yard Manage the day-to-day operations of the Yard Load and unload customer and supplier vehicles Lead and support the team to deliver success and suggest opportunities for improvement Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products Maintain stock levels Overseeing logistics of receiving, warehousing and dispatch operations Performing general maintenance of the machinery used in the warehouse Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these Coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary Maintain strong working knowledge of company products and services A full valid driving licence essential

Requirements:

Experience in a similar environment, such as a yard or warehouse Forklift licence desirable Computer/Microsoft Office skills Attention to detail and accuracy Takes pride in your work and work areas to maintain a safe and clean place of work Good communicator, reporting failure or breakdown progress to relevant parties as required Perform duties in a safe, professional and polite manner Be flexible and adaptable in a constantly evolving and changing environment Willingness to keep up to date with changing technology

Pay: Up to 32,500.00 per year
