We have friendly, inspirational showrooms in Monmouth (Head Office) and Cheltenham - managed by very knowledgeable long term staff.

We have the main warehouse in Monmouth and storage in Cheltenham

Duties include:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Yard Supervisor to oversee the daily operations within our Monmouth yard.

Keep yard & workshop organised and tidy. Operating fork lift - unloading deliveries in, sorting / moving items in yard. (full training can be given). Sorting customer orders from stock / deliveries in Re-stocking items being returned by fitters. In general, keeping on top of items in/out of yard. Assist director with arranging workload for Yard Operative and Delivery Driver. Currently main customer deliveries to occur on Wednesday's so all orders to be packed and ready to go in good time. Yard operative working on Thursday's and Friday's to prepare all orders. Work with office manager to ensure stocks are kept for fitters, tools & machines are in good order. General maintenance of machines, cleaning and ensure annual servicing is arranged. Make samples/displays for showrooms as required As required assist Yard Operatives with the preparation of orders. As required assist Delivery Driver/Yard Operatives with deliveries Drive Ford Transit long wheel & high top van for local deliveries, pick up's, waste disposal, cleaning sites etc. Assist with front of house duties from time to time. Tours of the yard/workshop, showcasing what we do. Help oversee Cheltenham storage - ensure clean and tidy and stocks held there. Assist with opening and closing up of the yard. Adhering to our Health and Safety policy to ensure our work area is kept clean, tidy and safe. You need to be positive, have a can do attitude, be reliable and pay attention to detail. Be organised, practical and tidy. Clean driving licence with experience of driving large vehicles. Operating a fork lift useful but not essential (full training can be given).
Must be over 25 years old due to our insurance requirements.

Normal Working hours

(but can be flexible)

8.00am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday (1 hour break per day)
Closed Weekends & Bank Holidays

Ideally, we would be looking for three fixed days - Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday's as this way we can plan deliveries coming in and give time to set up workload for Wednesday deliveries and Thursday/Friday finishing work.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
