Yards Person / Forklift Driver
Job Description
JPJ Installations provides market-leading design, fabrication and installation of architectural aluminium curtain walling, windows, doors and sloped glazed roofing. We aim to be the UK's leading provider of such services.
We are now looking to recruit a yards person/forklift driver into our busy transport department.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Checking and offloading deliveries
Maintaining tidiness of the outside areas and warehouse
Loading vehicles for deliveries
Adhere to H&S standards and procedures
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 year's counterbalance forklift experience with a current forklift licence. A driving licence would be advantageous.
Basic hours are 40 per week, typically working core hours of 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday (with a 1 hour unpaid break), however due to the nature of the role flexibility is required.
Must be self-motivated and able to take initiative.
Rate of pay is 12.50 - 13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
