Monday - Friday, rotates weekly 6-2, 2-10.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable

Yardsman FLT Driver / Relief Shunt Driver

to join our busy loading yard based at our headquarters in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a professional company committed to long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently and safely receive and put away stock products. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage. Pick and prepare products for loading using scanners. Load, unload, move, and stack products/materials using a forklift truck. Ensure the safe and efficient movement of trailers around the site using a Terburg tug. Strap trailers securely and spend time outside of the vehicle when necessary. Maintain company equipment as per operating instructions. Assist in physical stock takes and ensure appropriate records and reports are kept for accurate inventory control. Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the yard and warehouse environment.

What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience in Fork Lift Truck (FLT) operations within a yard or warehouse environment. A valid

Counterbalance Forklift Licence

, refreshed within the last three years (essential). Shunt Experience Experience in commercial driving (preferred but not essential). The ability to work under pressure, meeting strict deadlines with keen attention to detail. Integrity, reliability, and the aptitude to undertake new challenges.
