We are recruiting on behalf of a supportive and well-established primary school in Seaford who are seeking a confident
Year 1 Primary Teacher
to join their team on a long-term basis from February.The school has a strong KS1 team, clear phonics structure, and a calm, nurturing approach to early learning. Planning is shared across the year group, and teachers are well supported by experienced teaching assistants and a visible senior leadership team.
This role would suit a teacher who enjoys structure, values routine, and understands the importance of supporting pupils as they transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1.
The successful teacher will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging KS1 lessons Supporting early reading, writing, and numeracy development Establishing clear routines and expectations Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly Working closely with support staff and senior leaders
Essential requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Recent KS1 teaching experience Enhanced DBS Up-to-date safeguarding training
Pay:
From140 per day
