Are you a enthusiastic, nurturing and dedicated teacher looking for an exciting opportunity?
We are currently recruiting a year 1 teacher for one of our mainstream primary schools in the West Leeds area from September 2025. This is initially for 2 terms with a view of a direct contract at Easter 2026.

This school is located in the heart of West Leeds and is a friendly and inclusive primary school with a vibrant and supportive school community. The children are eager to learn and well behaved and thrive in the safe and caring environment. The teachers pride themselves on providing high quality education and promoting a love of learning.
The Role:
As a year 1 teacher you will be responsible for delivering a rich and engaging curriculum to the class, ensuring that every child is supported and challenged to reach their full potential. You will be working collaboratively with the other year 1 teacher and contributing to the wider community maintaining high expectations throughout school.
As a Year 1 Teacher You Must:
Be a qualified teacher with QTS (ECT's welcome to apply)
Have good knowledge of the key stage 1 curriculum
Have phonics experience (Read,Write,Inc. desirable)
Have excellent classroom management skills
Demonstrate creativity, energy and a reflective approach to teaching and learning
