Hinckley, Leicestershire

as a

Residential Support Worker

. We're looking for a passionate individual to join a small, supportive team dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Your Role:

You'll work with young people aged 8-18 in a short-term assessment home, focusing on building strong, nurturing relationships. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Mentoring and supporting young people to build their confidence and independence. Collaborating with families and other professionals. Helping with the daily operations of the home, such as cooking and cleaning. Maintaining clear and accurate records.
This role requires a commitment to one sleep-in shift per week. While your main location will be Hinckley, you must be willing to cover shifts at other nearby locations as needed.

What We're Looking For:

You must hold, or be willing to work toward, a

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare

. A strong commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of young people. A proactive and flexible approach to working shifts, including weekends and public holidays. A valid

UK Driving Licence
