We are looking for
experienced, confident and compassionate Support Workers
to join our supported accommodation service for young people aged
16-18
.
Our aim is to provide a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for young people as they move toward independent living.
As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping young people develop essential life skills, manage challenges, and engage positively with professionals and the community around them.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting young people aged 16-18 in a supported accommodation setting.
Building positive, trusting relationships that promote stability and personal growth.
Working collaboratively with
multi-agency partners
, including
Social Services
,
Youth Offending Teams
,
Education Providers
, and
Health Professionals
.
Encouraging and supporting young people to engage with education, training, and employment.
Managing challenging situations confidently and safely, following safeguarding and behaviour management procedures.
Maintaining clear communication and handovers within the team.
Lone working as required, while ensuring consistent communication with management and colleagues.
What We're Looking For
Experience is essential
-- ideally within supported accommodation, residential childcare, youth work, or similar settings.
Knowledge and experience of
multi-agency working
, including Youth Justice, Social Services, and Education.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and confidence in handling crisis or safeguarding situations.
