We are recruiting a
Youth Engagement Officer
to join the Youth Echo Programme, an exciting initiative that amplifies the voices of young people across Haringey.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about youth participation, community engagement, and supporting young people to shape decisions that affect their lives.
About the role
The Youth Engagement Officer will:
Build strong, trusting relationships with young people across Haringey
Facilitate forums, focus groups, and events where young people can share ideas and influence decision-making
Provide informal mentoring, helping young people access opportunities and develop their skills
Work closely with Alice, our Partnership and Social Action Lead, to ensure youth voice informs programmes and local policy
Support communications and engagement through social media, events, and reports
About you
We are looking for someone with:
Experience in communications, community or youth engagement, or event delivery
Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with young people and partners
Creativity, energy, and a genuine commitment to youth voice and participation
Willingness to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends
