25,500 - 30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The Role



We are seeking a passionate, driven, and experienced

Youth Centre Manager

to lead and manage all aspects of our centre's operations. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strategic thinking, strong community engagement, and the ability to inspire both young people and a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee the daily operations and long-term planning of the youth centre Recruit, manage, and develop staff and volunteers Develop and manage budgets, including financial forecasting and reporting Identify, write, and secure grants and funding opportunities Lead on fundraising strategies and campaigns Create and nurture a positive, inclusive, and youth-centred culture Plan, coordinate, and evaluate a varied programme of youth activities Engage directly with young people, supporting their personal and social development Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners, community groups, and stakeholders Monitor performance against KPIs and manage outcomes tied to the quarterly performance scheme

What We're Looking For



Proven experience in youth work, community development, or managing a similar setting - Required Strong leadership and people management skills - Required Demonstrated ability in fundraising, bid-writing, and securing grants - Preferred Sound understanding of budgeting and financial planning - Preferred Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills - Required A proactive, energetic, and hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making - Required Passionate about youth development and community impact - Required Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain) - Required
