Support Workers

Your Role
As a Support Worker, you'll provide consistent, hands-on support that encourages independence and fosters a sense of self-worth in a structured, nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored, person-centred support based on individual needs
Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with young people
Develop and implement support plans in collaboration with each young person
Keep accurate records, including daily notes, incident logs, and progress reports
Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and attending appointments
Promote participation in education, training, or employment
Provide practical support with budgeting, benefits, and housing applications
Foster self-confidence, self-esteem, and long-term independence
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
Work closely with colleagues and external professionals
What We're Looking For:
A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people
Experience in a similar role and/or a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
Full training available for those new to the sector with the right values and approach
Calm, reliable, and strong communication skills
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
