Youth Mentor Woodwork

Bury St. Edmunds, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Lyward Colley Workshops is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company offering 1:1 support and mentoring to young people who find themselves outside of mainstream education. Many of the young people that attend our workshops are challenged by special educational needs (SEN) and/or are challenged by social, emotional and mental health problems (SEMH). From our barn in Bradfield St George we work with students in a safe and nurturing environment supporting them to develop knowledge and new skills in our different workshops. By learning from doing students develop a greater sense of autonomy and confidence in their achievements however small.
