Cumberland Council is looking for a committed and compassionate Youth Offending Team Officer to join our multi-agency Youth Offending Service. In this vital role, you'll work directly with children, young people, and their families to prevent offending and re-offending. From preparing court reports and supervising community interventions to delivering restorative justice programmes and supporting young people in custody, your work will make a real difference.



We're seeking someone with a relevant qualification (e.g. Social Work or Probation Studies), strong assessment and communication skills, and a deep understanding of youth justice legislation. You'll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, flexibility, and continuous professional development.
