Responsibilities
As a member of out healthcare team, you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care across a variety of settings. Depending on your experience and the service, you responsibilities may include:
Building trusting relationships with clients and supporting their individual care plans
Assisting with daily living activities, medication management, and emotional support
Provide support in behaviour management strategies to promote positive interactions and outcomes.
Engage clients in meaningful activities that enhance their physical and emotional well-being.
Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Offer specialised care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Foster a supportive environment that encourages independence while providing necessary assistance.
Experience
Have
experience working in a care or support role
( minimum 6 months preferred)
Hold an
Enhanced Child and Adult DBS
.
have strong
communication
and interpersonal skills
Experience in
behaviour management
techniques is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when assisting clients with mobility challenges.
