Your Role:


As a Bank Residential Childcare Practitioner, you'll step in to provide stability, safety, and therapeutic care when it's needed most. You'll play a key part in maintaining routines, encouraging positive behaviours, and creating a calm, nurturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing:



Build strong, supportive relationships with young people aged 10-18 Deliver trauma-informed care tailored to each child's needs Support engaging, therapeutic, and outdoor-based activities Uphold daily routines to create a sense of safety and structure Keep clear, accurate records in line with regulatory standards Work closely with permanent staff and reflect best practice

What You Bring:



Experience in residential childcare or similar care setting Calm, confident approach to challenging behaviour and emotional distress Understanding of trauma, safeguarding, and therapeutic care models A full UK driving licence Availability for long day + sleep-in shifts (10am-11pm + sleep + 7am-10:30am)
