Waldo Williams Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil in our Nursery class.
This rewarding role will involve working closely with the class teacher and other staff to help a pupil access learning, develop essential skills, and make good progress in all areas of development.
Your role will include: Providing tailored support to meet the pupil's individual needs
Supporting the pupil's learning through structured play, communication, and routines
Promoting independence, confidence, and positive relationships
Monitoring and recording progress in collaboration with the class teacher and ALNCO
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience of working with young children, ideally in a 1:1 or additional needs capacity
Is calm, patient, and nurturing, with a positive approach
Understands how to support children's early learning and development
Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with staff and families

Grade 3 - 24,027 for 29 hours per week term time only for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to 16,542.09 pro rata rising to 46.8 weeks, 16903.27 pro rata per annum after 5 years' service. Fixed Term until 31/08/2026
