Waldo Williams Primary School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant Nursery team.



This is an exciting opportunity to work in a nurturing, play-based environment that supports the very start of a child's learning journey. You will play a key role in promoting the development of social, emotional, and communication skills through high-quality interaction and purposeful play.



Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the class teacher in delivering a rich and stimulating curriculum Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Assisting with the personal, social and emotional development of pupils Supporting individual and small groups of children with targeted learning

We are looking for someone who:
Has experience of working with young children in a school or early years setting Understands the importance of play in early learning Is patient, flexible, and committed to making a difference Can work effectively as part of a team

Grade 3 - 24,027 for 29 hours per week term time only for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to 16,542.09 pro rata rising to 46.8 weeks, 16,903.27 pro rata per annum after 5 years' service. Fixed Term until 31/08/2026.
