1:1 Support Worker for 2-Year-Old with Physical Disabilities

Part-Time 22 Hours per week.

Monday and Tuesday: 8.30am-5.30pm

Friday: 9.00am-1.00pm

Location:

Moreton Hall nursery

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to a 2-year-old child with physical disabilities Assist with personal care routines, mobility, and physical therapy activities Support in activities of play and learning, encouraging physical and cognitive development Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for the child Collaborate with the nursery team to create and implement tailored care plans Build a strong and trusting relationship with both the child and their family Promote independence and self-esteem through positive reinforcement

Ideal Candidate:

Experience in supporting children with physical disabilities is preferred but not essential A patient, caring, and compassionate nature Ability to engage and encourage children in activities and learning Knowledge of child development and special educational needs (SEN) is an advantage First Aid qualification (or willing to complete) DBS check (or willing to obtain)
