Job Description

Source Supply are working closely with a school in Middlesbrough to recruit a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant to work on a one to one basis providing extra support for a child with additional needs. This is a challenging but rewarding role that will require excellent behaviour management and a proactive, calm approach.

Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

- Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning (or be able to evidence they are working towards this).

- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.

- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.

-Have excellent behaviour management skills, able to easily build rapport with children from a wide range of backgrounds.

- Be comfortable supporting children with additional needs

- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.

- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
