Job Description

We are a growing, transport business, part of the EFS Global group of companies based in the heart of Kent who are looking to expand our current Driver team with a 2 x Permanent HGV 18t Day Driver.

EFS operates from 32 key depots across the UK. We have developed a range of services, from import and export, to European road freight, haulage, pallet & parcel deliveries, refrigerated transport and more. We now offer a truly end to end, high quality logistics service.

Monday to Friday Day Shift with One Sat per Month on rota.

The role will involve driving from our site in Kent to delivery points for our customers, delivering & collecting stock and returning the same day.

Safety and staff wellbeing is key to our operation. All drivers have electric pump trucks and we do not handball or manually offload.

Working to a strict time schedule you will be a confident HGV Driver preferably having worked in a similar role. Start and finish times are to be confirmed but start times are between 7am and 8am and finish time is between 5pm and 6pm

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and attributes.

Experience of pallet network deliveries Driver CPC Digital Tachograph Be smart with a friendly manner and able to follow clear instructions. Flexible approach to hours and overtime when required. Adhering to Health and safety policies and safe working practices
Please note that this is a permanent position, and the successful candidates will be fully employed by us on PAYE and will benefit from this with regular pay, pension scheme and holiday pay.

The successful candidate will also benefit from the following

1 per tail lift pallet daily bonus (OTE 150 - 200 per month additional)
