Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable 1st Line Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical support, providing assistance and troubleshooting for a variety of IT issues. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive timely and effective solutions to their technical problems, thereby enhancing their overall experience with our services.

Responsibilities

Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues, ensuring prompt resolution or escalation as necessary. Assist clients with computer networking issues, including configuration and troubleshooting of network devices. Conduct basic repairs on Telephone Systems and peripherals, ensuring all equipment is functioning optimally. Support VoIP systems, assisting with setup and troubleshooting as required. Participate in network installation projects, collaborating with senior engineers to ensure successful deployment. Interpret schematics and technical documentation to assist in problem-solving and equipment repair. Work with Draytek routers Wildix, Callswitch , Webex , providing support for configuration and maintenance tasks.

Skills

Strong understanding of computer networking principles and practices. Proficiency in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair techniques. Familiarity with VoIP technology and its implementation in business environments. Experience with network installation processes and best practices. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to electrical systems. Knowledge of Draytek routers and Wildix, Callswitch networking equipment is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
