Alsons Group is seeking a reliable and experienced

3.5 Tonne Recovery Driver

to join our dedicated vehicle delivery and recovery team. You will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles between our garage and various locations using a 3.5t recovery truck. This may occasionally include towing with a trailer.

Vehicles are loaded onto the recovery truck using a winch and secured for transport --

previous experience is essential

. We are looking for someone confident in handling long vehicles, able to work independently, and capable of using initiative when unexpected situations arise.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving a 3.5t recovery truck to collect and deliver vehicles

Using a winch to load vehicles and securing them safely

Occasional towing using a trailer

Carrying out basic vehicle checks and routine maintenance

Ensuring timely, safe, and professional service at all times

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid UK driving licence

Minimum 1 year's proven experience driving a 3.5t vehicle (with trailer)

Experience using a winch and securing vehicles (essential)

Basic mechanical knowledge for inspections and minor maintenance

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently

Clean driving record
